Dear AOASO Council Members,

I am pleased to announce that the next AOASO Council Meeting will be held at the 30th European Congress on Obesity 2023 in Dublin, Ireland. . The meeting will take place at Liffey meeting room 3, the Convention Centre Dublin, on 18 May 2023, between 12:00 – 15:00 hrs. 

I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Mia Fojas for the successful arrangement of this meeting. She worked hard to reserve a room and arrange for the AV system and catering for us.

The agenda for the meeting will be circulated at a later date. 

Furthermore, I would like to encourage member societies to express their interest in hosting AOCO 2025 before the meeting to me through e-mail. The vote for the selection of Congress city will take place at the council meeting.
